Ruth S McDougle

Ruth S McDougle, 95, of Tallahassee passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 5, 1921, and raised in Milan, Ohio. She was married to Rev. Ivy L. McDougle for 57 years. She had 3 children, Jean, Ivy Lee and Sharon. Ruth was preceeded in death by her husband Ivy, her daughter Jean and her son Ivy Lee Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sharon Allen and husband Rob; grandsons, Richard L.Dixon and Patrick McDougle; granddaughters, Ivy Miles, Bethany Allen and Molly McDougle. She has 7 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, Tallahassee, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church in appreciation of all the wonderful members who visit the homebound.
