Rita Marie Welliver, 88, of Jacksonville passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St Vincent’s Southside Community Hospice Care Center. Rita was born on August 30, 1928 in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts to the late Leopold and Yvonne Poirier. She attended the Lowell Vocational School and was employed with the Epicure Restaurant, and Ronnie’s Steakhouse. Rita was a healer threw her massage therapy, her loving heart, soul and delicious food. She was proceeded in death by her parents; siblings, Raymond Poirier, Leo Poirier, George Poirier, Terry Poirier, Roland Poirier; husbands, Paul Foucault and Charles Welliver. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Paul Foucault (Donna); daughter, Arlene Foucault; siblings, Jeanne Wagner, Richard Poirier, Roger Poirier, Pauline Bentley; grandchildren, Lisa, Shazal, Paul David, Eric, Michelle; great grandchildren, Maddeline, Ozzie, Nolan, Brenna. A celebration of Rita’s life will be held at a later date. Neptune Society is in charge of her arrangements.
