May 31, 1952 to Josefina Serrano and Mauricio Conde and passed away in Jacksonville, FL on October 23, 2023.
Fuji is preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind two brothers, Eduardo and Arturo; three sisters, Susana, Margarita and Alejandrina; five children, Ricardo Jr, Alejandro, Emilio, Diana and Hector; the mother of his children, Lidia; companion of sixteen years, Bonnie, which to him she was his Enchantment; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Fuji took great joy in spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his role of grandfather. He was an aficionado of many genres of music. He enjoyed reading and watching movies, especially Disney movies. He was a leader and a very organized person. Fuji was a person that you can have a conversation with about anything; an intellectual and one thing about him he was a great ladies man. He had a sarcastic and dark sense of humor. He was a man who enjoyed cooking for his family and had a great love for Jacksonville.
Fuji was a big soccer fan. His three favorite teams were Barcelona, Liverpool and a team that doesn't exist anymore but he liked, Toros Neza. He was a major fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and University of Florida Gators football.
Fuji was greatly loved. He will be missed by his family and friends alike. He was of the Catholic faith. A Memorial Mass and ceremony celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 3 pm at Saint Joseph's Historic Catholic Church, 4214 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223, with Father Rodolfo Godinez as Celebrant.
