I just heard- I am beyond saddened with this news. We had re connected a bit on Facebook after oh so many years. Rhoda was my babysitter when she was in high school- she took on 5 of us Holmes' kids (I am well past retirement age now). We all loved her she was so sweet & so much fun.  I was just going to wish her a happy birthday. I am so very sorry for you loss. Rosemary (Holmes) Draper

I am beyond saddened to hear of Rhoda's passing. When we moved to the US from Europe, the Westons were the best neighbors we could wish for.  Rhoda was there for the birth of our first born, and through my own mother's sickness. Rhoda was more than a friend to me, she was a 2nd mother.  The world has lost one of the kindest, best humans, but her soul lives on, and she will always be in my heart.   Happy Birthday Rhoda <3 

I was so saddened to hear of Rhoda’s passing. We worked together for many years at Carrolltowne Elementary and had so many wonderful conversations and  good times. She was compassionate, funny, caring, smart and loved by many. I will always remember her and am so sorry for her loss. My sincere condolences to her family.

We have lived next door to Rhoda and Mark for 15 years. Although we have seen very little of Rhoda this year, we’ll always remember her kindness and Christmas Day in pj’s with her family.  Mark, if there is anything you need, we are just a few steps away.
