Rebecca Joan Rickhoff

Born on November 1,1944 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA Becky was preceded in death by her parents Ernest “Jim” & Elaine Beverlin. Becky is survived by her husband Thomas Lynn Rickhoff, whom she married on August 20, 1966 in Sigourney, IA, her sister Marsha Vampatella (Ben), children Mark Rickhoff, Marjorie Rickhoff (John Hatala), Grant Rickhoff (Natasha), grandchildren - Malorie, Britani, Courtni, Maksim, Valentina, and great grandchildren James, Madilin & Myles. As well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Becky was raised in Knoxville, IA (1944-1963) and became a United Airlines Flight Attendant (1964-1966). Becky lived in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Florida. She was a longtime resident of Kalamazoo, MI where she was very involved in the community and was a volunteer at the YMCA.

After her husband Tom’s retirement, the two moved to Mears, MI and became a staple of the community and church in the Silver Lake area. Becky & Tom honeymooned in Hawaii and visited the islands many times during her life as well as Europe. She drove their camper coast to coast following Tom as he rode his bike across the USA and continued to RV with Tom throughout the country for 7 years before moving to FL to be close to family.

Becky was a wonderful mother, amazing grandmother, beloved wife, sister and friend. She was very involved and supportive of her children’s and grand children’s activities and always present to cheer them on.

The family has elected to have a celebration of life this coming summer. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or a charity of your choice in her name.
