He was born on June 12, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan where he grew up as a child during the Great Depression and the Second World War. He graduated from South Eastern High School in 1948 and was Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Draftsman/Engineer for Chrysler Corporation. He was actively involved in Venice Little Theater, working as an usher and set construction.
He was preceded in death by his father Ernest and mother Thelma; his brother, Roger and his loving wife, Marie.
He is survived by his children, Joyce Stewart of Lenexa, Kansas, Scott Jennings of Lansing, Michigan, Eric Jennings of St. Augustine, Florida, James Kieling of New Baltimore, Michigan and Jackie Gobert of Harrison Township, Michigan.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment at Venice Memorial Gardens,1950 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292, on Friday April 4th at 2:00 pm; visitation with the family will be at the time of service.
