Peter Harry Shrubsall

Born on July 19, 1946, in Niagara Falls, New York, Peter was raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He proudly served in the United States Army, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked for Merck Pharmaceutical for many years. In 2004, he made his home in Fernandina Beach, Florida, where he resided until the time of his passing.

A loving father and grandfather, Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Eileen Shrubsall; his sons, Christopher Shrubsall and Anthony Shrubsall (Elizabeth Joyce); and his grandchildren, Kevin and Liam. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Christopher Shrubsall, and sister, Robin Warfield; many nieces and nephews; and step great-grandchildren, Jayden Blackmon, Curtis Blackmon, and Chanel James. He was predeceased by his parents, Suzanne and Harry Shrubsall; his brothers, Edward and Mark; and his sister, Suzanne Steffens.

Interment will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery. The date and time are to be determined.
