Penny L Franke

Penny L. Franke, 75, companion of Craig W. Lebisky of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. Born on April 20, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM, she was the daughter of late Ralph Roderic and Calla (Marshall) Shehyn.

Penny was raised in Orlando, FL and was a graduate of Evans High School, class of 1962.

Penny was a Interior Designer for many years in Atlanta, St. Simons, and Jekyl Island, GA where she had a multitude of clients.

Penny relocated to Saint Simons Island in 2001, and met Craig Lebisky from Philadelphia, PA through friends in 2002.

Penny and Craig relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 2009. In addition to her companion Craig, Penny is survived by her former husband, Michael Franke of Atlanta, GA; sons, Michael Franke of Aspen, CO, and Christopher, husband of Olivia Franke of Denver, CO; Granddaughter, Lana Franke; sisters, Marielle, and Kayla Shehyn and brother, Rodney Scott Shehyn. Preceded in death by her sister, Simmone.

Per her request funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice Anne & Donald McGraw Center for Caring, 4715 Worral Way, Jacksonville, FL 32224.

Dear Penny,

You are the sunshine of my life and will be forever.

You had a dream last week that were in a beautiful butterfly garden.

What a pleasant thought. I hope you are there now.

All your family and friends will miss you everyday.

Rest in peace Pen Pen. Till we meet again.
