He is survived by his 3 children: Judy Jones (Preston), of Palm Bay, FL.; Jan Tillman (Roger) of Keystone Heights, FL.; and David Robinson (Sheila Myers), of Franklin, NC. 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and his sister Mrs. Mildred Plouffe, of Clewiston and her family.
Paul resided and worked most of his life in S. Florida. He had quite a few different jobs such as: working as a civilian at Homestead AFB during the 2nd World War, Paul also worked as a FHP examiner, he had a driving school, along with his wife Kelly. Paul's most constant line of work was as a projectionist and stagehand. In the late fifties he became Business Agent and later President of Local 646 (now known as Local 500, IATSE). Paul retired in the 80's as stage manager of War Memorial Auditorium for the City of Fort Lauderdale. While he worked with the union, Paul received numerous commendations and "atta boys" from various producers and directors for the excellent work done by Local 646. Paul and Kelly Moved to Maggie Valley, NC where he worked for Ghost Town in the Sky in Maggie as a greeter/information agent. He really enjoyed the visitors and his co-workers. Paul also delivered "Meals on Wheels" in Maggie and after he returned to Florida.
Paul had a real affinity for donuts, cookies, and candy and will always be known for his generosity with his "stash". Paul was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend and he will be greatly missed by all.
