Nannette J Wray

Nannette had a peaceful passing surrounded by family on Friday, February 14th.

Nannette was a faithful member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church where she found solace and comfort through Pastors Jeff and Jenn Arnold and her entire church family.

A devoted friend to her United Airline flight attendant sisters, Debbie, Kathy, Monica and Pat, Nannette maintained these friendships from beginning their careers in the 1970's to the very end.

Most of all, Nannette was a loving and kind big sister to Jay W. Jackson (Anita), Georgia Winegeart (Mark Robinson), Demetria Livingston (Bert) and ran "Camp Nan" to all of her nieces and nephews, Courtney Johnson, Tyler Johnson (Nikki), Maggie Winegeart (Dylan Taylor) and Emily Livingston Alfonso (Michael) as they were growing up. Nannette was especially delighted to reconnect with her nephew, Matt Bartley (Tammy) in 2021. Her four year old great nephew, Landon Johnson brought a special joy to her life and she so looked forward to meeting his new baby brother, Cooper who was born on February 10, 2025. Nannette is also survived by nieces Jennifer Washington and Kelly Jackson as well as a nephew James Wesley Jackson II.

Nannette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard (Dick) Wray on their 32nd wedding anniversary in 2015, her mother Margaret Jackson in 1999, her father Dr. James Wesley Jackson in 2000 and her sister, Annette RaDel in 2021.

We will honor Nannette's memory on Monday, February 24th at Mandarin Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. located at 2501 Loretto Road in Jacksonville.

Nannette treasured the past 35+ years with her many devoted Labrador companions that brought her such joy and love.
