Mary Ann Nickell

Mary Ann Culver Nickell, age 72, Port Orange, Fl. passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2017 surrounded by loved ones at home. Mary was born in Galesburg, Illinois. She was a Christian who lived a life of unconditional love as a mother, grandmother, sister, & aunt. She retired as a long time employee of U.S. Foods. Mary is survived by her son Jeffrey Nickell; grandaughter Ariana Nickell; sisters,Pat Galbreath, Port Orange, Fl, Beth DeBord (Eddie) Sevierville, TN, Carol Corujo (Enrique);nieces and nephews: Bob Applegren(Gloria), Laura Brickel, Kathy Shaddix, Joan Bracewell, Russ Applegren, Brendan Galbreath(Shannon) all of Port Orange, Florida, Paul Galbreath(Jaime), Concord, NC, Jon Galbreath(Terri), Ozark, Al, Tim Pride(Mariah), Maris Corujo, Elise Recupero(frank), Sean Christopher, Kim and Cori, Culver, Angela Montgomery; many great & great, great nieces and nephews; special great, great, nephew Connor Walter; special great niece Lauren Applegren. Many thanks to Kindred Hospice for their tender, loving care and Dr. Kathleen Doughney, Oncologist for her many year of compassion and care. A memorial service and celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the home of her sister, Pat Galbreath, on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Neptune Society is in charge of arrangements.
