Martha Hawkins McGinnis

She was born in Cool Springs, NC on August 31, 1932. She graduated from Meredith College with a degree in General Education. She went on to work for the state of Florida as a social worker before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and painting, and she loved taking care of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her siblings, Hazel Williams, Samuel Hawkins, Jim Hawkins, and Jetone Hawkins.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Kalota (Ben), Eva Craycraft; her son, William McGinnis; brother, Carter Hawkins; grandchildren, Jenny Kalota (Tom Pennington), Adam Brock (Alana), Stephanie Kalota, Allison Futch (Bobby), Shelby Craycraft; and great-grandchildren, Skye Pennington, Isaac Brock and Juniper Futch.

Service will be held at Christ the King Anglican Church, St Augustine, Fla, Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 PM EST
