Marjorie “Noni” Rose Kaufman, 91, of Ormond Beach passed away May 9, 2017 at Halifax Health Hospice. She was born on April 22, 1926 in Shelbyville, Illinois to the late Henry Morgan Maxwell and Lula Grace Cruit Maxwell. Marjorie was raised in Plain City, Ohio. In 1945 she married Carl M. Kaufman in Russell, Alabama. She raised her family in Hilliard, Ohio, graduated LPN nursing school, and practiced hospital nursing. Marjorie was an active member of the First Baptist Church and head of the Bible School. After moving to Cooper City, Florida in 1969, she volunteered with the Cooper City Children’s Program and became a member of the Sheridan Hills Baptist Church in Hollywood, Florida. She moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 2005 to be near her family. Marjorie loved crafts, crocheting, crossword puzzles, her little dogs, walking, gardening and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law, John Cruit Maxwell and Louise Maxwell. Marjorie is survived by her three children: Barbara Butsko (Joseph) of New Albany, Ohio, Rebecca Stone (Melvin) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Mark Kaufman (Ana-Liza) of Ormond Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren: Jim Butsko (Vanessa), David Butsko,Terah Lagarde (Benoit), Jaron Stone, Jamie Montgomery (Wally), Johnathan Kaufman (Jasmine), Justin Kaufman (Natasha), Jason Kaufman (Kaila), Dakota Kaufman; seven great-grandchildren: Blake, Dominic, Logan, Sloane, Prather, Louison, Hudson: nieces and nephews. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida on June 9, 2017 at 11am.
