She was born in Providence, Rhode Island and was a daughter of the late William Bancroft.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mark Aniki; daughter and son-in-law, Laureen and Gary Proulx of Harrisville, RI; son, Larry Gardner of North Providence, RI; daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Daniel Szychowski of Whitehouse, OH; granddaughter, Pamela (Vetter) Polion; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lauren and Jordan Vinski; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jamie (McCarty) Szychowski and Justin McCarty; great grandchildren, Patrick Murphy and Kristen Murphy.
Marjorie loved all types of music, mostly Elvis Presley, and she would even dance in her wheelchair. She loved flowers in her yard and all around her. She loved her family the most and would look forward to getting calls from her daughters every day. She loved her puppydog-they would watch TV together and she would even rub his puppydog tail as if the puppydog was real. She also loved the new baby girl, Daisy, a German Shepard puppy before she even met her. Marjorie was very patriotic, this past Memorial Day she had her room decorated red, white, and blue with a big American balloon flag and she would make Mark salute the balloon flag when he came to visit. She loved to be silly and laugh-even at herself.
We leave you with Marjorie's favorite words and she would tell everyone, "oh-boy, oh-boy, oh-boy"....
