Margie Widner Newberry

She was born on April 16, 1938 in Colquitt, Georgia where she grew up and moved to Florida during her high school years.

Margie worked for Publix as a Deli Clerk and was actively involved in her local church and was dedicated to exercising at the YMCA. Margie had a great sense of humor and loved to travel. They were able able to visit all 50 states in the US as well as many countries abroad.

Margie is survived by her husband, Atty “Buddy” Newberry; two daughters, Donna Harris and Sherry Yost; four grandchildren, Jason, Jenelle, Jesse and Jonathan; 12 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Keeley, McKenzie, Kaden, Logan, Ashton, Maddox, Taylor, Kelly, Ellie, Jackson and Maddlynn.

The family would like to thank their friends for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend an informal Celebration of Life in Margie's honor on Friday, September 8th, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at The Towers of Ponce Inlet Clubhouse, 4545 S Atlantic Ave, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127.
