Joyce Estelle Adams

Joyce Estelle Adams, 74, of Jacksonville passed away peacefully on December 19, 2016 at Memorial Hospital. Joyce was born on August 24, 1942 in Middlesex County, Virginia to the late Edward Robinson and Helen Pleasant.

She completed her high school years in the Middlesex county education system and furthered her education by attending college. She loved puzzles, reading, and creative art on fingernails.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Thomas Robinson, sisters, Emma Kemp and Helen Kimble; daughter Lisa Adams, and grandson Aaron Adams.

She Leaves to cherish her memory her spouse of 52 years, Arthur W Adams; brother, Gilbert(Jennifer) Robinson; mother-in-law, Vivian Adams; brother-in-law, Rodney(Kim) Adams ; sister-in-law, Vanessa Adams ;sons, Douglas, Erik and Frederick; daughter-in-law’s, LaTonya and LaTanya; grandsons, Traivon, Brandon, Alex, Adrian, Cameron, Malik, Elijah and Erik; granddaughters, Kamiah and Erika; great grandson, Adrian Brown; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be 3 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at her son’s residence, 2501 West Caparina Dr, St Augustine, Fl 32092 with Pastor Toby Johnson officiating.
