My condolences. We were just sitting together at the table and we thought about you. Jesse, you helped me navigate Alma College. So sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. He was a beacon light to everyone he met. I will always cherish the years I worked with him at Alma College. 

I have fond memories of Jesse and Myrna from his time at Alma College. He actually assisted Joe Walser in the baptism of our son, Michael. He was a wonderful man and he and Myrna were beloved members of our college family.  My sympathy to his family.

One Sunday I was in the choir, and we sang “God has smiled on me“ by Isaiah Jones, Junior. Rev. Perry shared with me that he had met this man in person, and that he had also written the hymn “fill my cup.”    He expressed his love of that hymn and I was glad to hear it sung at his memorial service. God has truly smiled on Rev. Jesse Lee Perry, and may God continue to smile on his family.

Myrna, I am so sorry to hear of this loss. He was my brother my mentor and my friend.
