Jennifer Potts Storts

Jennifer Potts Storts, 57, of Land O Lakes Florida passed away March 12, 2018 as a result of a rare lung disease. She was a ray of sunshine and had a very positive outlook on life even as she strongly and fiercely fought a tough battle. Those touched by Jennifer were bound to laugh a lot from her wicked sense of humor. She gave us all courage and hope and reminded us that each and every day is precious.

Jennifer is survived by her son Shawn Storts, her sister Linda Potts Erath, brother-in-law Edward Erath, cousins Dotty and Sandra, her sweet dog Cowboy and many friends. The family would like to thank her friends and her other family of co-workers who were all so supportive and giving to help Jennifer. A very special thanks to the Mayo Clinic team of doctors, nurses, techs, respiratory and physical therapy.

Jennifer loved spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, listening to rock music, dabbling with arts and crafts and playing board games. She devoted much of her life and energy as a caregiver to her mother, father and brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 3:00 pm at her neighborhood Club House. A social gathering with refreshments and food will follow at her home.

One of Jennifer’s unfilled wishes is for her son to finish college. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to her son Shawn so he can finish his senior year at The University of South Florida.
