Devoted, dedicated, loving mother and wife of 59 Years, Jeanne A. Sehringer, 77, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. Jeanne was born in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Steve and Anna Gaydos. Jeanne lived the life of a true love story meeting her husband early in life. They became friends during their kindergarten years and shortly became true soul mates. Jeanne and Ernie were never apart. She was a mother to all and known as “Mama Jean”. She cared for us all, whoever was sick or sad or just needed love. She was truly our angel on earth. She created a great home full of love and taught everyone unforgettable lessons of love, compassion and giving! Her cooking and baking was amazing and she made everything from scratch which always made everyone feel so special. She taught her daughters, Patty, Sandy and Cindy very well in the kitchen and they will carry on the traditions of kolachee, fruit cakes and chocolate mousse! Jeanne loved Amanda, Dakota and Alina. She would have done anything for them. She enjoyed cooking and spending precious time with them. She could be found at home or near the water with a fishing pole in hand. She had lifelong friends and cherished best friend, Ilse Stalzer. She enjoyed her life and had a deep love and compassion for animals, especially her beloved, Bear. Jeanne had a new passion for the Miami Marlins and we would laugh when she yelled at the television. Jeanne lives on in the hearts of her loving husband, Ernie; cherished son, Jim; daughters, Patty, Sandy and Cindy; precious granddaughters, Amanda, Dakota and Alina; beloved brother, Steve Gaydos; nephews, Jason and Chris Gaydos; brother-in-law, Alan Sehringer and spouse, Sharon and the girls. Jeanne was loved more than words and will be deeply missed! We are comforted in the fact that she is now at peace and happy in the arms of Nana and Pop. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to your favorite animal charity.
