

Jim was born on December 28, 1944 to Doris Campbell and George Kershner in Charleston, West Virginia.
He was a fan of collecting movies, knives, guns and Disney pins. He loved horses and Nascar.
The best day of his life was getting baptized in a river in Guyana on a mission trip.
Jim was predeceased by his Loving wife, Linda Kershner, who he looked forward to seeing again and his great grandson Nevaeh Highsmith.
He is survived by his two children, Ruby Chapman and Mike Kershner; four grandchildren, Kristal Kershner, Jammie Kershner, Ruby Scarlett and Roy Fugate; great grandchildren, Ammarie Fugate, Gabriel Scarlett, Lillian Scarlett, Liam Scarlett, Nicole Highsmith, Nathaniel Highsmith, Nyah Highsmith, Nayla Highsmith, Natalie Highsmith, Reganild Ogburn, Abigail Ogburn.
Services with military honors will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218, on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1:30 pm.
