Harvey L Lewallen

Harvey Leon Lewallen, 86, went to be with Jesus peacefully on February 17, 2025. He was born on March 19, 1938 to Walter Lewallen and Mary E. Allen. Harvey loved his country and he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal and continued his service in the Reserves. He served the Jacksonville community by owning Leo Pest Control for the last 57 years (1967-2024). In his downtime, he was an avid deer hunter who loved to be in the woods anytime he could with his son.

Harvey dearly loved his family, which includes: his loving wife of 65 years, Lois Lewallen; his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Carolyn Lewallen; his daughter, Tammy (Don) Felix; his 6 grandchildren: Jessica (John) Ashton, Brandon (Sara) McCart, James (Kelsey) McCart, Ashley (Jeremy) Ostrander, Amber (Cory) Lang, and April Lewallen; his 7 great grandchildren: Christina, Elijah, Noah, Gabriel, Ella, JR, and Waylon; and the best dog, Gunny!

Harvey was a father and Papa of the highest caliber. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity and honor, and he will be greatly missed by all.
