Harry Thomas Heery III

Harry Thomas “Tom” Heery, III, 68, of Jacksonville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Morris Center for Caring. Tom was born July 9, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Harry Heery, Jr. and Marquerite Heery. He loved to play golf, bass fish, listen to country music and dance. In recent years, Tom volunteered his time to reach out to others dealing with their loss of sight. He co-founded a book club that touched many lives. He lives on in the hearts of his loving family, his wife of 47 years, Sharon; his children, Nancy O’Gara and her husband, Richard and Robert Thomas “Bob” Heery and his wife, Patti. A celebration of Tom’s life will be at a later date.
