She was the sixth of eight children born to Lloyd and Irene Neal of West Virginia.
Survived by three sisters, Nancy Terry of North Carolina, Patricia Noe of Kentucky, and Brenda Snowden of Florida.
Liz retired from U.S. Civil Service in 1994 with 33 years, service. She and her husband traveled extensively in the United States, Western Europe, England and Turkey.
Liz spent her years at Sanlando United Methodist Church serving with the quilt group, Share-a-craft and other activities. She especially loved to serve at the Christian Sharing Center.
She will be interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with her late husband, Ray M. Holcomb and daughter, Sherry Lynn.
