Edwin August Marotz

Edwin August Marotz passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at the age of 77. He was born on July 7, 1942, in Washington, Michigan. He spent most of his time living and working in the state of Michigan. He only recently made his home in Florida three years ago to escape the harsh winters and spend more time with his son and family.

He retired from Pontiac Motors after 25 years. He then started his second career driving trucks for Ryder Logistics for 15 years. He enjoyed the company of his two dogs, Amy and Angie. He really enjoyed playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.

He is survived by his sister, Edith Brinkey and his brother, Herman (Jean) and several nieces and nephews.

He was a very proud and loving father. He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Patricia. He is survived by his son, Edwin (Patti) and grandchildren, Meghan and Kyle, his daughter, Crystal Gray (John) and grandsons, Tristan, Shawn, and Joey.
