Diann Pearl Simpers, 58, of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her niece’s residence. Diann was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on February 25, 1959 to the late George and Martha Jefferson. She loved the outdoors, fishing, swimming, nature trails, star gazing and gardening. Her favorite place to visit and explore was the Gold Head State Park. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Johnnie, Patsy, Biff, and Janet. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Derick and Duane Simpers; boyfriend, Chip Morrison and his son, Chad; siblings, Butch, Tommy, George, Robbie, Charlie, Susie and Peach Jefferson; granddaughter, Alexandra Bomar; former husband, David Simpers; grandpup, Buster and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly. A celebration of Diann’s life will be 1:00pm Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Lake Shore Baptist Church, 2363 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32210 with a visitation beginning at 12:30pm. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32205 following the service. There will be a celebration reception at the home of Allison Hakes, 8210 Hakes Lane, Jacksonville, Fl 32221. Neptune Society is in charge of her arrangements.
