Daulphus Daniel Miller

Mr. Miller was born in Palatka, Florida. He moved to Bunnell with his family as a child and served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years as a young man. He has lived in Yulee since 1970. He was a retired diesel mechanic with the Jacksonville Transit Authority. After his retirement, his love of golf led him to seek employment at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course where he helped maintain the golf cart fleet for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ann Miller.

He leaves behind their 2 children, Charles “Danny” (Cheri) Miller of Yulee, and Melodi (Lee) Weaver of Salt Springs, Fl., two sisters, Dona Lane of Florahome, Fl., and Viola Reagan of Oak Hill, Fl.; three grandchildren, Jason (Vanessa) Weaver of Jacksonville Beach, Fl., Danielle (Daniel) Loudermilk of Yulee, and Caitlin Stroh of Yulee, and 6 great grandchildren, Finnlee Stroh, Jonathan Loudermilk, Huck Stroh, Ryan Loudermilk, Dylan Weaver and Alyssa Weaver.
