

He was born April 26, 1940 in Lake Mary, FL to the late Luther and Bertha Bridgeman.
Charles held a long and successful career as a master mechanic. From an early age he developed an interest in drag racing and later in life was known for building and working on hot rods in his spare time. He always found something to fix, and loved watching NASCAR, fishing and cheering on his favorite teams, FSU and the Dallas Cowboys. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and best friends.
Charles is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Bridgeman; children, Charles Robert Bridgeman (Krissy) and Melissa Blair; grandchildren, Heather Dieringer(Charlie), Shaylynn Taylor (Brandon), and Ansley Fay Bridgeman; bonus daughter, Linda Strickland; best friend, Gordon; and mother-in-law, Jean Fellows. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
