51 years old of Saint Augustine, FL passed away Tuesday October 30, 2018 in his home surrounded by loving family. Brian was born in Dorchester, MA and grew up in Montvale, NJ. He was the fourth of five sons of (late) George D’Errico and Sally D’Errico of Jacksonville, FL.
Brian met his future wife, Diane Bosticco of Paramus, NJ, at Copelco Capital where they worked together in New Jersey. They were married at Our Lady of the Visitation Church in Paramus on August 1st, 1999. Together they shared 19 years of marriage and had two children, Olivia and Brian. They began their married life together and started their family in Mahwah, NJ before moving to Saint Augustine, FL in 2003.
Brian is a graduate of Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, NJ and Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Brian worked for SMG for the past two years after spending 13 years as Assistant Controller for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brian was an accomplished athlete playing many sports growing up. He especially thrived on the baseball diamond. Brian spent countless hours coaching his children’s teams and nothing made him happier. He loved the NY Mets, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Notre Dame Football. His greatest love was for his children, his nieces, nephews and all the kids he was blessed to have coached through the years.
Brian is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Olivia and son Brian of Saint Augustine, FL. His mother, Sally D’Errico of Jacksonville, FL. His brothers George (Sharon) D’Errico of Nashua, NH, Michael (Mary) D’Errico of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Paul D’Errico of Montvale, NJ and Patrick (Darcy) D’Errico of Saint Augustine, FL.
Brian will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews who meant so much to him. Owen and Katlyn Rose (D’Errico) Imperato and Nicole D’Errico, Michael (Leanne), Shane, Gabrielle, Devyn, Cade and Christian D’Errico, Brendan and Keira D’Errico. Michael (Alex), David and Sarah Fiorino. Larissa, Kayla and Jenna, Nicholas and Riley Bosticco. Each share wonderful memories of their Uncle Brian who was like a big kid to them.
A funeral Mass with be held Monday, November 5th at 10am at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church located at 1718 State Road 13 North, Saint Johns, FL. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Brian’s memory to Community Hospice of NE Florida.
