Althea A Rumble Hall

Althea Armor Rumble Hall, 91, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center. Althea was born on August 13, 1926 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Howell and Genie Armor.

Althea was a member of the Navy Wives Association, UF Faculty Wives Club, Daughters of the King, and the Episcopal Women of the Church. She was presented the Bishops Cross Commendation from the Episcopal Diocese of Florida in 2012. Althea obtained an associate’s degree in Paraprofessional Counseling.

Althea was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt as well as a teacher, counselor, Guardian Ad Litem. She enjoyed attending USNA Navy and UF sporting events, reading, traveling, movies and theatre.

Althea was preceded in death by her son, Jon MacGillvray Rumble; husband, James Douglas Rumble; husband, William Clifton Hall.

Althea lives on in the hearts of her children, James Douglas Rumble, Jr. (Alina), Lynn Rumble Johnson (Richard), Margaret Rumble Rasnick, Edith M. Rumble, Joy Hall Sack (Paul), Joseph Denny (Ernie), Jared Hall (Ann-Kristin), Mark Hall (Joann); grandchildren, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Rebekah, David, Jessica, Areth, Morgan, Na’tan, Sha’anan, Lena, Lior, Maya, Joannie, Daniel, Sam, Lisa, Belinda; 21 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Althea’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Church of Our Savior Episcopal, 12236 Mandarin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
