Alice Irene Ricker

Alice enjoyed nature and being outdoors. She loved drawing, painting, writing short stories and her wonderful book club. She also gave much of her time volunteering at various organizations in her community.

Alice was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being an active long standing member and contributor of the Unitarian Universal Church in Arlington.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kendra Denise Ricker in 1988.

Alice is survived by her former husband, Jim Ricker; her son, David J Ricker (Ginger); her granddaughter, Venus Durden (Shawn); her three grandsons, Bryce, Chase and Rhett Durden; her sister, Susan Grebe (Henry) and family and friends in St Louis.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jacksonville at 7405 Arlington Expressway at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be given to the Unitarian Universal Church or Hubbard House.
