Dear Paul, I don’t know how much you remember of me, but for me I know the love your sister has for you, I remember the swim party you had in Dallas at her house while she & I sat inside & laughed a lot. Mostly I remember what you said about me “ that I over dressed always” how true your words because my husband Rico says the same thing. How true your words. You will be greatly missed. Rest Well my Friend❤️🙏🏾

Words can't express how deeply saddened I am to hear about Paul's passing. My heart is truly broken. He was more than just a friend; he was a part of my life, and I'm going to miss him terribly.

I'll never forget the countless hours we spent playing Bidwhist, the laughter, the friendly competition, and the way he'd always try to bluff his way through a hand, even when he knew he was beat. Those memories are so precious to me, and I'll cherish them forever. Paul had a way of making every moment feel special, and his kindness and warmth touched so many lives.

Please know that I'm sending you all my love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Paul's memory will live on in our hearts, and I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how much he meant to so many people.

This was a fun day for us. I enjoyed beating you in Connect4. Lol I'm going to miss you Uncle Paul. The laughs, jokes,   and the extensive  knowledge with Marvel characters. I'm so glad I had a chance to see you before your transition. I asked you if I needed a 😷 and you said, " It's cancer, not COVID." I fell out laughing!! We talked and we prayed for you. I'm so glad we prayed! Until we meet again, I'll see you in the morning and rest in His eternal peace!!

My bud/besty, I still can't believe you not here. It's been a hard few weeks and it's time for me to accept that you are in a better place now.  May your wings forever be with us. Until we meet again my Bestie ❤️

Dear Brock Family,
I have fond memories of attending many Christmas bid whist parties in Mt. Pleasant. SC.  Paul 'talked much trash' while schooling newbie players (me being one).

Please accept my sincere condolences on Paul's passing.

Sending prayers of condolence to the Brock family! Paul had a personality that was larger than life.  Kimberley I think he got his love for Bali g from you…. But not quite the professional pastry chef as you but he did his thing… my last visit with him last summer in Dallas. We set in my hotel lobby and just reminisced on our days in Atlanta… I did not grow up in Maywood but have family here in Chicago that did… Paul the little boy from Maywood, IL has ended his watch. May we keep his memory alive… I’m sure he is somewhere trying to start a bid whist game…

Gone too soon little brother.  There's a hole in my heart that I don't think time will heal. Never thought I would see this day.  I am thankful for the years of having you for my brother and friend. I am thankful for the memories and photos that will sustain me and the next generation.

​My condolences to my good friend Paul Brock. He was the best at keeping you in a corner when he got upset with you, but it was all in love. He only got upset with the ones he truly cared for. He will be missed. Forever in my heart

Paul was absolutely one of a kind as a son, brother, uncle, cousin & friend. He was loving, loud and boisterous with a carefree spirit. His smart mind and smart mouth rivaled each other for dominance! Don't even think about challenging him in Jeopardy like trivia or interrupt him while he watched this favorite show! Our Mom used to say "he was too smart for his britches." True that as nobody could tell him how to win at Bid Whist!

I loved and now miss my knucklehead Brother. All the memories I hold near and dear are keepsakes in my heart. I truly pray God has Paul wrapped in a tender embrace that comes from knowing Jesus in a heart-relationship, so all his pain is forever gone.

Paul visited me in a dream at the beginning of September.  He didn't say anything, he just sat there in a chair, just around the corner with his back against the wall. That incidence created an urgency to speak with him but I could not reach him.

Our spiritual connection affirmed I am left with feelings of gratitude and relief I believe he was ready to move on to the next thing.  My brother, my friend I carry you with me forward.
