Linda Jeanne Warner (maiden name Kane) passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, in Henderson, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Kansas City, Missouri, and spent her early years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Linda is survived by her son, Charles Walter Warner Jr. (Melinda); her daughter, Angela Jeanne Fry; her sister, Mary Cuhel; her grandchildren Charles Walter Warner, III (Tori) and Madison Fry (Adam); her niece and nephew, Sandy Jones (Lonnie) and Andrew Cuhel; and three great-grandsons, Walt, Wayne, and Robyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Scott and Keith Kane; her nephew, Mike West; her brother-in-law, Leon Cuhel; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Linda was retired from AT&T, where she worked most of her life. She loved the Lord and was a blessing to so many.
One of her favorite things to do was send handwritten cards with love and encouragement to family, friends, and others. Linda had a passion for movies and loved going to the theater. She also loved animals and they loved her.
Her infectious smile, kind heart, and positive spirit left an impact on all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed here on Earth, those who knew Linda take comfort knowing she is now with the Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 7th at Gashland Baptist Church on Barry Road in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be at 3:30 pm and services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm. Linda will be laid to rest at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, beside her mother. May her memory live forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
