Liana Lou Fleming

Liana Lou Fleming, 79 of Tyler, TX. passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born in El Paso, TX. on August 27, 1943. Liana graduated from Austin High School and for a career she selected the local telephone company, now AT&T where she worked for over 33 years as a drafting clerk until she retired.

In her early adult years, she enjoyed bowling in league competition. Unfortunately, a childhood disease weakened her legs causing her to end the sport. She turned to card games, crosswords and other puzzles for her challenges.

Liana is survived by her loving husband John E. Fleming, Jr. of 45 years, Tyler, TX.; daughter Cynthia L. Weatherford and partner Loretta Martinez of McKinney, TX.; sister Karen Coffey of El Paso, TX.; lifelong best friend from age 6, Billie Sue Chalout of Warner Roberts, GA.; and Jay Saravo of Houston, TX.
