James Robert (Bobby) Brewer of Duncanville, Texas passed away on Monday March 24, 2025 at the age of 64. Bobby was born on April 1, 1960 in Cleburne, Texas where he spent the first years of his life until moving to the island of O’ahu in Hawii, his mother’s home state. Bobby lived in Hawii until his family returned to Texas in 1974.
Bobby was always an entreprenurialist. As a young boy he gained a newspaper route and established a flower picking business in O’ahu, selling the flowers to lei maker. As a young boy this successful business afforded him to purchase high priced items such as a television and bike umong many others. After highschool he took on a position at Plastic Suppliers Inc in Duncanville, Tx for over 20 years until the doors closed in the mid-2000s.
James Robert Brewer was actively involved in gardening. Sucessfully cloning a native peach tree growning outside of Plastic Suppliers Inc.
He is survived by his mother and father, Lillian and James William Brewer, sister and nehphew Lori Beach and Tanner Wayne Beach, his son James Aaron Brewer, daughter Mallorie Nicole Brewer and his grandchildren James Austin Brewer, Lilly Jean Brewer, James Roman Brewer, and Brodie Gaven Huckabee.
James Robert Brewer had a brilliant and excentric mind. Excelling in mathics during highschool and applying his knowledge to test his own scientific theories in botany and other eclectic diversities. Bobby explored new places and ideas frequently, passing on his broad knowledge to his children and grandchildren. He was a dependable worker. Providing for his children as a single father and protective of his close family. Whether it be walking his sister to school, fighting for father’s rights, or providing another point of view in regards to his grandchildren.
