David Jeremy Gomez

David Jeremy Gomez, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Irving, Texas. He was born May 1, 1990 in Irving, Texas to Larry and Anita Marie Gomez. Jeremy truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as being an ultimate foodie, cook, gamer, avid streamer (he was always telling his parents what to watch next) and spending time training his new puppy Pug, Sammy. Jeremy loved to watch his favorite sports teams the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks. He was so happy to finally see the Rangers win a World Series. Jeremy was an avid baseball player growing up as well. He started in T-Ball when he was 5 years old and played through his senior year in high school for the Nimitz Vikings in Irving, Texas.

Jeremy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Pedro Nunez Sr., Larry Gomez Sr., Charlie and Paula Flanders who thought the world of him. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents Larry and Anita Marie Gomez, grandmother Tomasa Nunez, Aunt Esmerita Nunez, Uncles Thomas Nunez (wife Jennifer Nunez) and Pedro Nunez Jr. His cousins Tommy Tovar Jr. (wife Janae Tovar), Amanda Garza (husband Chris Garza), Thomas Nunez Jr. (wife Ashley Nunez), Vanessa Becerra (husband Steven Becerra), Ashley Nunez, Michael Dillon Tovar, Nadia Nunez, Monika Nunez, Issac Nunez, Noah Nunez, and Adalynn Nunez. And last but not least, his furry best friend/sibling, Sammy Boy.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11am at St. Luke’s Catholic Church - 202 S. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, Texas 75060.
