Mabel Skinner. She graduated from Southgate High School and went on to attend Bible College in Central
California, where she majored in music and played the keyboard and piano for the school choir.
On October 14, 1966, Charlene married Hal Wayne McCloure. She worked part-time in an administrative
position but found her greatest joy as a stay-at-home mom. In 1971, she and her family moved to the Dallas, Texas, area, where she homeschooled her son. She remained deeply involved in the church choir throughout her teenage years and into adulthood.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father, Chester Skinner; her mother, Mabel Skinner; and her
stepmother, Kathleen Skinner. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Hal Wayne McCloure; her
son, Marcus Wayne McCloure; and her daughter-in-law, Candace Diane McCloure. She also leaves behind her grandsons, Cody, Cameron, and Ethan McCloure of Royse City, Texas; her brother, Leonard Skinner, and his wife, Vicki, of Washington State; as well as her nephews, Norman and Jason Skinner.
