Carol Ann Sillavan

CAROL ANN SILLAVAN was born October 20, 1953 in Dallas to Hugh Milton Oliver and Georgie Irene Davis, and passed after an extended illness at her home in Dallas January 22, 2025, with her husband at her side.

Carol attended Dallas schools where she made many lifelong friends due to her cheerful and outgoing personality. This also resulted in Carol being voted as the ROTC battalion sweetheart. She was crowned during the Military Ball in her senior year at Justin F. Kimball High School.

During Carol's professional career, she held various positions, including time with the Dallas County District Attorney's office and the Texas School Book Depository. Carol was always a valued team member due to both her excellent typing skills and her strong work ethic. Carol worked briefly as a property leasing agent and later as a mystery shopper for various companies, often taking day trips with her mother to visit and rate different types of businesses.

After retiring, Carol stayed busy creating TikTok videos that were enjoyed immensely by her thousands of followers. Her videos were primarily humorous or involved love and marriage.

Being an only child and never having children of her own, Carol often had pets to share her love with. She had several dogs, and even a hedgehog at one time. At the time of her passing, Carol shared her home with a 12 year old Quaker parrot and a 2 year old German Shepherd.

Thanks to Facebook, Carol was able to reconnect with a friend from high school and found true love in the last few months of her life. They were planning her move to Oklahoma to join her husband when she was tragically taken.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, her beloved grandmother, and her adored Uncle Kenneth, who doted on Carol as if she were his own child.

Carol is survived by her cousin, Susan Wade of Van Couver, Washington and by her husband, Kim Herbst of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and his family.

Carol will be missed by those who knew her in life, and by the many that only knew her as a talented TikTok creator
