

Sandra Streng was born in Brussels Belgium on March 22, 1926 to Alexander Lewin and Natalia Konstatinov Morozov Lewin. She lived in Belgium and France 1926-1932; Palestine (Israel) 1932-1942; Egypt 1942-1945, New York City 1945-1955; and Dallas, TX 1955-2025.
A proud Dallas resident since 1955, she raised two sons on her own, working multiple jobs to support her family. Despite a her family and career responsibilities, she made time for community work, such as PTA groups at her children's schools; being band sponsors and chaperones for the Lipscomb, J.L. Long and Woodrow Wilson High School Bands; fund raising for the Meyerson Symphony Center; getting Doctors to volunteer for the Los Barios Unidos Clinic, and being a poll worker during elections.
Sandra worked as a Nurse Practitioner, with Dr. Anthony De Haro in the late 1960s-early 1980s primarily serving the Hispanic Community. Her Work helped ensure the health and future of area children, many of whom contributed to the well-being and future of Dallas.
Her love for the arts has long inspired her to be a tireless supporter of the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Arboretum, and the Myerson Symphony Center.
She spoke 20 languages and never met a stranger. Her smile, curiosity, and kindness brought great joy and happiness into the lives of countless individuals along with her love, friendship, and wisdom.
Alexandra is preceded in death by her parents and her son Ronald Daniel Streng. She is survived by her son Randy Streng, 2 Grandchildren- Pilar Alexandra Streng, and Ronald Daniel Streng II, and 4 great grandsons.
Her Family is sincerely grateful for the care she received over the years from Dr. Joseph Somer (of Blessed Memory), Dr. Zek Lieberman, Dr. Peter Cohn, Dr. Priscilla Hollander, Dr. Laura Nguyen, Dr. Micah Burch, Dr Pavan Pamadurthi,and Dr. Briana Mazur. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PMin the Stern Chapel at Temple Emanu-El Dallas, 8500 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, TX 75225.
