Timothy Joseph McKee

Timothy McKee, aged 80 of Kokomo, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family. Timothy was born at St Joseph Hospital to the late George and Mary McKee.

Timothy graduated from Kokomo High School, then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. His service reflected the dedication, honor, and resilience that he carried throughout his life. After returning home, he worked at GM where he retired after 30 years. After retirement, Tim went on to build his own home where he raised his granddaughters Peyton and Merisa as his own.

Timothy embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved the excitement of sprint car racing, the energy of rock 'n' roll music, and spending time with the people he loved most. Whether cheering on the sprint cars at the track, or cracking an ice-cold beer in his garage, he had a way of making every moment memorable. A quote Tim liked from the band Queen was, "Fat bottomed girls, you make the rocking' world go 'round." It always brought a smile to his face. His family will continue sharing the memories to keep his fun-loving spirit and legacy alive.

Above all, Timothy was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His greatest joy came from his family, and the love he gave them will continue to be felt for generations.

He is survived by his daughters, Peyton (Josh) Neuzerling, Merisa Grammer, and Angela (David) Barreira; his grandchildren, RJ Barreira and Alec Barreira; his great-grandchildren, Rylen and Phoebe Sweeney, Haylee and Linken Neuzerling, Grayson Smith, and Roman and Ariah Richardson.

He is also survived by his sisters, Colleen Rich, Sheila (Jeff) Haworth, and Pat Richardson, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary McKee; his brother, Mike McKee; his brothers-in-law, Kenny Rich and Coy Richardson; nephew Matthew Rich; and his precious great-granddaughter, Everleigh Smith.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Timothy's love, laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality will live on in each of us. His memory will continue to race on like the sprint cars he loved, and his favorite songs will forever remind us of the joy he brought into our lives.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
