Susan Diane Andrews

She graduated from Klondike High School, in 1959. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts from Purdue in 1964 and in 1972 added a Masters degree.

For the majority of her career she taught second grade at Oakland Elementary in Lafayette.

She was an avid traveler enjoying destinations on nearly every continent. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering with many civic groups including Daughters of the American Revolution, Tri Kappa, Trinity United Methodist Women, Indiana Extension Homemakers Association, and Klondike Alumni Association.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Canine, former husband, William Briggs, and former husband, Kenneth Andrews. Surviving Susan are two sons, Chip and G.R.; one daughter, Darcilyn; grandson, Austin, and granddaughters, Elliet, Maggie, and Kennedy.

Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 11th at 3:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 509 North Street, Lafayette, Indiana, 47901 In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Susan's honor to the Indiana United Methodist Children's Home via https://iumch.org/donate-iumch/
