Steven Lee Adams

Born April 29, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steve was the son of Georgia and Floyd Adams. He dedicated over fifteen years of his career to GDI Construction before retiring.

Steve had a deep love for the outdoors, especially riding the trails in his side-by-side and camping whenever he had the chance. He rarely missed an opportunity to ride and took great pride in watching his granddaughters learning and sharing that passion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Becky; his daughter, Jennifer (Charles) Anderson; and his granddaughters, Madi and Charlotte. He is also survived by his mother, Georgia Adams; his sisters, Regina (Richard) Niemeic and Dianna (Burt) Summerfield; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; his beloved dog, Cooper; and his best friend, Kendall Hirata.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Adams.

The family is honoring Steve’s wishes to be cremated and will spread his ashes over several of his favorite riding trails. Steve will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.

A Celebration of Life will be held in late spring/early summer. Those who wish to remember Steve are invited to share memories. Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
