

Ronald Eugene Lepper passed away on February 10, 2026. Ron was born on July 27, 1936, at the family home on South Summit in Indianapolis, delivered by his father. Ron’s parents were the late Leroy Lepper and Vernell Hack-Lepper-Rice. Ron was the first son out of 10 boys and one girl.
Ronald married Kathleen Lepper on November 28, 1971. They were married for 54 years. Ronald worked in various roles in his life including working as an upholstery apprentice, a body builder, a bouncer, managing fitness facilities, and selling cars. Ronald loved his family and his pets. He loved food and wanted to make sure everyone was always fed. He enjoyed an “ice cold” Coca-Colas and sweet treats. He always found a way to work in stories of his body building days into any conversation.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his only sister, Hilda Louise Lepper-Stephens-Glasscock and his brothers, Gilbert Jocko Lepper, James Wilbur Lepper, Raymond Leroy Lepper, Robert Joseph Lepper, Harley Edward Lepper, Randy Gordon Lepper, and Charles Merlin Lepper.
Ron is survived by his wife Kathleen (Whitman) Lepper, his sons Ronald (April) Lepper Jr., Steven (Melissa) Lepper, Ronson (Kathy) Lepper and daughter Leah (Jeffrey) Lepper-Hintz, grandchildren Olivia (Dalton) Strunk, Kaleb (Andie) Lepper, Kyle Lepper, Jesse (Amanda) Lepper, Megan (Spencer) Neitzke, Abby Lepper, Madison Lepper, Sullivan Hintz, Weston Hintz, Evelina Hintz, and great grandchild Montgomery Lepper. Also survived by brothers David (Ronna) Lepper and Tim (Marsha) Lepper.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
