

Robert "Bob" George White, age 94, of Fortville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Coldwater, Michigan on August 18, 1931, to Robert F. White and Elizabeth (Fisher) White.
Bob was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War Era. Bob graduated from Tri-State College with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Bob and Kathryn were married for 70 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing on family vacations. Bob also enjoyed gardening was always willing to share fresh vegetables and gardening tips. Bob and Kathryn enjoyed ballroom dancing, square dancing, and round dancing. He never knew a stranger.
Bob worked at Guide in Anderson, Indiana as a general foreman. After retiring from Guide in 1988, he worked at H&R Block preparing taxes for over 20 years. Additionally, Bob and Kathryn enjoyed working at Yellowstone National Park for numerous years.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kathryn (Marchant) White; sons, Thomas White (Peggy), Craig White (Cathie), Jon White (Marianne); daughters, Patricia Brandon (James) and Alison Byers (Matt); eleven grandchildren: Rachael Shirley, Melissa Boyle, Steven White, Jason White, Ashley Jett, Courtney Johanson, Zachary White, Sarah White, Shane White, Kathryn Evans, and Audrey Byers; fifteen great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth White; his brother, James White; and sisters, Joyce Sanders and Marjorie Sebald.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be at Perkinsville Community Church, 2783 N. Washington Street, Anderson, IN 46011, on March 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Inurnment will take place in Michigan. Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
