Born on August 14, 1940, in Noblesville, Indiana, Becky lived a full and meaningful life, defined by her love for her family and friends and the many lives she touched along the way.
Becky graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and spent 33 years caring for others. Nursing was more than a career for her; it was a way for her to serve and make a difference in the lives of those around her.
Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved being involved in her local church. She was often a member of the handbell choirs and treasured the fellowship and friendships she found there.
Becky especially cherished the time she spent with her husband, Custer, and the 21 years they shared in Florida. Those years brought them many wonderful memories and were among some of the happiest chapters of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Custer, in 2017. She is survived by her son, Dave, and his wife, Chikage; her daughter, Alycia Ellison, and her husband, Ken; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Although she will be deeply missed, her family and friends can find comfort in knowing that she is at peace with our God and reunited with those who went before her.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Paradigm Hospice Care and Life's Journey Hospice for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided during her final days.
At this time, no service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Plainfield United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24
