Norma Joyce Hage

Norma Joyce (Allen) Hage, 91, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away at I.U. Health Saxony Hospital on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born in Indianapolis on Sunday, January 24, 1932, to Barney C. Allen and Pansy E. (Bolin) Allen. She married Robert R. “Bob” Hage on September 30, 1961, and they shared fifty-four years together.

Norma loved the Lord and was very active in music and ministry at Church of the Crossing in Indianapolis, and the early beginnings of Northview Christian Life in Carmel.

Norma had her own interior design business, and loved helping others in creating their dream home. Norma and Bob moved to Punta Gorda, Florida, in July 2006 to enjoy their golden years in the sun. After Bob’s passing, Norma moved home to Fishers.

Left behind to cherish her memory are: her daughter, Judy (Larry) Schmits; her son, J.R. (Jenny) Hage; her grandsons, Jason (Devyn) Hage and Jacob (Charlotte) Hage; and two precious great-grandchildren, Vivian and Adeline; nephew, Randy (Debbie) Smith; niece Cindy Smith; two step-grandchildren, Neal (Stacy) Schmits, and Kelly (Kevin) Mangin; and seven step great-grandchildren, Austin, Taran, Mackenzie, Taylor, Olivia, Tristan, Brady, and one step great-great-grandson, Knox.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her son, John Allen Wagner in 1972; her sister, Jeanine Allen Smith in 2012; and her parents, Barney and Pansy Allen.

A service will be held July 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Sarasota National Cemetery in Florida, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bob.
