Matthew Todd Beatty

Matthew Beatty, 37, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away June 29, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Matt was born a twin to Joseph and Deborah Beatty on May 6, 1981. Matt was an avid pop culture enthusiast and loved everything from music, film, video games, and comic books. He lived the later part of his life as a quadriplegic, but never let his injury define who he was. Instead he continued to be an important part of his family and friend’s daily life. Matthew is survived by his mother and father, Deborah and Joseph Beatty; his twin sister Michelle and her daughter Anya; and his older brothers, Joe and Jason (Alex Funes). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Patricia Kirkpatrick and Joseph D. Beatty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
