Marsha Elaine Long, age 80, of Anderson, Indiana passed away at St. Vincent Heart Center on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was born in Noblesville, Indiana on March 14, 1944 to Robert W. Ammerman and Susanna J. (Crowthers) Ammerman.
Marsha was thoughtful and kind with a splash of sass. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Marsha was a beam of light and was dearly loved by everyone she knew. She enjoyed camping, and fishing and being outdoors. Marsha worked retail most of her life, spending years managing the now nostalgic Jack and Jill shop. Marsha was actively involved in her church and always thought of others before herself. She loved the holidays and decorating for them. She was a social butterfly and cherished her time spent with her family and friends.
Left behind to cherish her memory are: her daughters, Terri (Mark) Spencer and Tammy Evans; brothers, David Ammerman and Rex (Karen) Ammerman; grandchildren, Kelsea Collins and Noah Evans; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Collins, Loretta Crabtree, and Ronin Stephens.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Susanna Ammerman.
A Celebration of Life will be March 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 119 East 36th Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. A dinner will follow at the church.
