Mark Alan Cultice, age 67, of Princeton, Indiana, made it to the triumphant crossing on Friday, February 10, 2023.
Mark was born July 5th, 1955, in Xenia, Ohio. He grew up there and also in Princeton, Indiana.
Mark graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a BS in Special Education and in 2013 with a Master’s in Special Education.
Mark was in sales, a wine rep, and a teacher. His favorite was teaching. He had patience and loved interacting with people. If you knew him, he was never on time anywhere and always the last to leave. He also was a foodie and loved to bake, cook, smoke meats, and give reviews.
His passion was music. He loved all genres and much to Jill’s chagrin was always ready to get a new or used guitar. He helped form the Descent Band in his youth and it is still going strong today. He played lead guitar, until his fingers would not allow him to do so from neuropathy.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jill (Darrah) Wright, daughter, Brianna (Rudy) Cultice, Elliott (Heather) Cultice, and Mark (Row) Cultice Jr., step-daughter, Darrah (Aaron) Trayer; granddaughters, Alena Cultice, Rosa Gonzalez and Julia Gonzalez; grandsons, Zane Wright-Norrick and Michael Wright; great-grandson, Lance Wright-Norrick and great-granddaughter, Iris Gonzalez; his sisters, Julie (Pete) Tringale, Tracye (Greg) Woolery, Debbie Collins, and Linda Collins Cunningham; and his brother, Gene (Vivian) Collins.
Mark was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Doug Cultice and Louise Collins-Cultice; his mother, Nancye Cultice Fowler; and stepson, Lance Wright.
