Joyce Ann VanHorn

Joyce Ann VanHorn, age 81, of Indianapolis Indiana passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at home. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 27, 1943 to Richard Earl Worland and Mary W. (Ellis) Worland. She married Jerry Lee VanHorn and he passed away April 23, 2022.

Joyce is survived by: her children, William (Terri) McDaniel, David McDaniel, and Jack (Angie) McDaniel, Tammie (Donnie) Allen, Denise (Terry) Ward, and Lynn (Rob) Davis; grandchildren, Kasi (Daniel) Haire, Kelsee (Ryan) Hartung, Daniel Hoagland, Bryan Jett, Emily McDaniel, David McDaniel, Dylan McDaniel, Cayla (Dustin) Palmer, James Davis, Caitlyn Davis, Dorian Davis, Austin Meyer, Elizabeth Ward, and TJ Ward; nineteen great-grandchildren; one niece, 2 nephews; and a life-long best friend, Lois Ellis.

Joyce was preceded in death by: her husband, Jerry Lee VanHorn; her parents, Richard and Mary Worland; and her brother, Dennis Worland.

Per Joyce’s wishes, no services will be held. Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
