John Charles Kehl

John Charles Kehl, 81, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on July 5, 2023 at Riverview Hospital. He was born June 20, 1942, the son of Fred G. Kehl and Mary A. (Walsh) Kehl. John married Rebecca A. Faux in 2000, and she survives. After graduating high school, John became a carpenter and retired from Rollins Construction.

To know John was to love him. He never met a stranger, and his family was everything to him. John was a loving husband to Rebecca, and an amazing father to his two children and his three bonus children.

Left behind to cherish his memory are: his devoted wife of twenty-three years, Rebecca; children, Karen (Stan) Cool, Julie (Jerry) Daniels; bonus children, Joe (Sue) Swain, Katie (Matt) Sutton, and Jessica (Steven) Harper; twelve grandchildren, Brian, Amanda, Andrea, David, Justin, Liam, Grady, Reagan, Olivia, Jackson, Lily, and Hunter; along with twelve great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held for the immediate family. Neptune Society is in charge of cremation arrangements.
